DH-P-AG Aramid Gland Packing is a high-strength dynamic seal (meta-aramid fibers + PTFE impregnation). 40% cheaper than carbon fiber, maintains 85% strength. Meets DIN 3760 and ISO 10993-1. Standard (4mm-16mm) and custom (up to 40mm) cross-sections, 5/10m spools.

Temperature Resistance: Continuous 280℃, intermittent 320℃; 5% strength loss (1000h at 280℃).
Abrasion Resistance: Wear rate < 0.02 mm/1000h (1500 RPM, DIN 53516) – 60% better than PTFE.
Tensile Strength: ≥ 180 MPa (dry), ≥160 MPa (wet) – prevents tearing.
Pressure Capacity: Up to 20MPa (reciprocating), 12MPa (rotating) – matches mid-grade carbon fiber.
Media Compatibility: Resists oils/fuels/coolants; swell <5% (150℃ oil), seawater corrosion <0.05mm/year.
Hydraulic Systems: Industrial press cylinders, excavator arm hydraulic shafts.
Mining: Slurry pump shafts (40% solid content), 30% longer life than PTFE.
Marine: Propeller stern tubes, seawater pumps (IMO-compliant, calcium sulfonate grease-compatible).
Automotive Manufacturing: Stamping press rams (20MPa), robotic arm cylinders.
Compression Set: 5% (aramid) vs. 17% (PTFE) at 15MPa (1000h) – 2x longer life.
Misalignment Tolerance: 0.45mm vs. 0.15mm – less leakage.
Extrusion Resistance: Withstands 20MPa vs. PTFE’s 15MPa.
Polyurea grease (NLGI 2, e.g., Mobil Polyrex EM). Avoid silicone (causes brittleness). Intervals: 250h (standard), 150h (≥200℃/≥1500 RPM). Water-resistant variants for submerged use.
Yes, with PTFE dispersion treatment: friction coefficient 0.09 (vs. 0.12), swell <2%, resists chlorinated water/microbes. 5% cost up, 40% longer life (10→14 months).
