The DH-P-CG Carbon Fiber Gland Packing is a premium high-pressure dynamic seal constructed from TORAYC T700 carbon fibers (7μm diameter) impregnated with PTFE dispersion and graphite. Manufactured via 8-end satin weaving, it delivers exceptional strength while remaining flexible for easy installation. Meeting API 682 and ASME BPVC III standards, it is offered in standard cross-sections (5mm-25mm) and custom sizes up to 60mm, supplied in 3m/6m spools with anti-oxidation packaging.

Temperature Resistance: Continuous operation at 300℃ (oxidizing environments) and 500℃ (inert gas); short-term resistance up to 550℃ with minimal strength loss.
Mechanical Strength: Tensile strength ≥ 280MPa (dry), ≥ 250MPa (wet); no extrusion even at 28MPa static pressure.
Abrasion Resistance: Wear rate < 0.005mm/1000h (2000 RPM, DIN 53516) – 30% better than aramid packing.
Chemical Compatibility: Resists acids, alkalis, and high-temperature hydrocarbons; volume swell < 2% in 200℃ engine oil.
Oxidation Protection: Integrated ceramic coating reduces weight loss to < 0.3% after 1000h at 300℃ (ASTM G113).
Power Generation: Boiler feed pump shafts (300℃, 20MPa), turbine control valve stems.
Mining: Slurry pump shafts (40% solid content, 12MPa), ball mill hydraulic cylinder seals.
Aerospace: Ground support equipment hydraulic pumps, rocket fuel transfer valve stems.
Heavy Industry: Forging press ram seals (25MPa), steel mill rolling mill hydraulic shafts.
At 20MPa (1000h), DH-P-CG exhibits compression set of 4% vs. 15% for aramid packing; misalignment tolerance reaches 0.5mm (rotating) vs. 0.45mm for aramid, reducing leakage by 25% in misaligned shafts.
Use polyurea-based grease (NLGI 2, e.g., Shell Gadus S5 V220C) with molybdenum disulfide additive. Lubrication intervals: 300h for standard service, 180h for high-temperature (>250℃) or high-speed (>2500 RPM) applications. Avoid silicone grease, which causes fiber brittleness.
Yes, with hydrophilic PTFE treatment: water absorption < 1%, friction coefficient drops to 0.09, and service life in water pumps extends to 30 months (vs. 24 months for untreated). Ideal for water treatment plant sludge pumps (8% solids content).
